This event has ended.

This exhibition is the first large-scale showing in Japan of art from the Moscow Kremlin Museums. The museum presents a selection of 230 works from the collection. Encompassing various forms, these works convey virtually all aspects of the culture and the arts of Russia’s ancient capital of Moscow, from the moment the city first appeared in the annals of history in 1147, through the beginning of the 20th century.
There is no collection anywhere else that provides such a magnificent overview of Russia’s capital from its earliest days. Based on the wealth of Moscow’s archdukes and on the palace collections of Russia’s long line of emperors, the museum collections have grown enormous. The numerous treasures that will be transported from the heart of Russia for this exhibition will become a source of knowledge that brings the past to life.
*Exhibiting at B3F.
