Takayasu Ito (1935-1985) was a sculptor from Akashi city. After graduating from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music, he became a remarkable artist who painted with plaster and plastics, and sculpted objects with a theme of "an infinite space". He also worked on environmental design and film, but passed away at age 50. This exhibition features a variety of Takayasu Ito's work.
