The exhibition will examine how the Kyoto school of artists and the Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art have influenced the world of contemporary Japanese painting. By looking at 120 works that were selected and exhibited in Bunten, Teiten and Shinbunten exhibitions that included works by Shoen Uemura, Kikuchi Keigetsu and Heihachiro Fukuda, such relationships will become apparent .
