受賞後２ヶ月の間に、ポスターサイズからポストカードサイズまで含めて50近い作品を描きあげたという平野氏。
作品タイトルは、描かれた情景をコネクションする役割を果たし、ART STREAMよりもより色彩の開放を試み、奇を衒うのではなく、実験的ながら “より雰囲気をかもし出す色彩” という配色を狙っているかのよう。
感覚的なところから生まれる景色に刻まれるパステルもアクリルとの調和ができており、むしろ言われなければわからない作品もあるほど。
急いだためか、技法のせいか、波打っている作品が１つあったが、制作姿勢も含めて、真摯な彼の制作に対する熱が伝わってきた。
40点近い展示数だったと思うが、それでも新作のストックがあるという。彼の作品としての筆の精度が落ちていなかったので、次もまた楽しみである。
