The cherry blossom is the most popular flower in Japan. Since the early times, the Japanese have favored the cherry blossom and its beautiful color. In the Edo period, Hanami (enjoying the cherry blossoms) became a popular activity and various Hanami spots were created. The exhibition features prints that represent acting roles, symbols, plays, and places that have a connection with the cherry blossoms and its symbolism.
