"1st Ebijuro Ichikawa Actor Portraits" Exhibition
Kamigata Ukiyoe Museum - Museum of Osaka Prints
This event has ended.
The characteristics of Osaka-based Ukiyoe prints are that they often depict Kabuki actors compared to those created in Tokyo that depict women and landscapes. The prints from Osaka hold a strength in depicting the actors' individuality vividly.
This exhibition features works that depict the Kabuki actor 1st Ebijuro Ichikawa, who was popular in both Tokyo and Osaka.
