Jomon ceramics, among the world's ancient ceramics, is known for its distinctive sculptural style. The exhibition features ceramic items that have been found in archaeological sites in both eastern and western Japan. Items include ceramic dolls, clay accessories, and mythical and or made-for-ritual ornaments.
