Approximately 190 Ukiyoe works (woodblock prints from the Edo period in Japan) from Paris' Musée Guimet will be on display. The Musée Guimet was founded in 1889 by Lyons industrialist, Emile Guimet (1836-1918). In 1945, the museum acquired the Louvre's East Asian art collection, and is currently known for its extensive East Asian art collection.
