人間は通常、いわゆる五感を通じて外界と感じている。
とはいえ、表現ともなると、同時に五感を刺激するなんてことはまずありえない。
彼は、あえて、視覚で感じる美術に体温を融合させた。
その選択はすでに一定の評価を得、彼の絵は実際にその融合を角膜を通して体感させてくれている。
まずはDMの絵について。行って実物を見たらえらい印象が変わった。それもそのはず。２ミリもないようなサーモグラフモデルの線が綿密に描かれているのだ。その２ミリであまりに印象が変わったのは、見ていただいたらわかるだろう。
残りの作品群も大小あるが、それぞれ展示している印象が明らかなように感じる。
それは彼と直接話をさせてもらった経験からかもしれないが、タイトルにしかとからくりが施されている。
プレートは１枚しかないが、機会がある方は是非タイトルを眺めながら見ていただきたい。
（本当は時間なんてないのだけど、展示日数も少ないので、コメント投稿。タイトルをいちいち書き留めてこなかったのが悔やまれる。）
そういえば、タイトルもそうだが、今回のセレクションは、思えば思うほど彼らしいというかなんというか、場所もあるからだが、はっきりと彼のコンセプションが肌身に感じる展示だったと思える。
大阪で見られる機会の少ない彼の作品。是非ともこの機会に見ることをお勧めしたい。
