The Minneapolis Institute of Arts is one of the leading comprehensive museums in the U.S. with a very fine collection of Japanese art. They hold more than 3000 Ukiyo-e mainly from the collection of Richard Gale. Selected 250 pieces from their large collection are introduced in this exhibition, including works that are on view for the first time.
