The exhibition's theme is "ma"(something that is between things, negative space), and young Ikebana artists and sculptors have collaborated in making works.
"Ma" is an essential element in the traditional Japanese performing arts. The carefully intertwined silence appearing in a play or performance is a form of rhythm and a method of creating a certain atmosphere. The artists attempt to reconstruct the "ma" through the medium of flowers.
