Enshu Kobori was a commander and a tea ceremony master who interacted with many public figures including emperors. He was endowed with many talents, and worked on architecture as well. This year marks 400 years anniversary since Enshu was given his job by Ieyasu Tokugawa. This exhibition features tea ceremony items that Enshu adored and a tea ceremony room setting.
