展示のタネを軽くばらす･･･いやまあDMにちゃんと書いていたのだけども。この写真の作品が、“S”-Shose Ringということを･･･。
橋本さん曰く、ネタ作りが大変だったと･･･ええもう、驚きましたとも、軽く(許可を得て)爆笑させていただきましたとも。
思い出し笑いをしそうになるのですが、今回の展示は、アルファベットを題材にそれぞれの頭文字から始まるリングをそれぞれの文字につき１つずつ作ることをテーマにしたのだとか。
個人的には、BLMNXあたりはまだ印象深いです。見たインパクトや実際に触れて感じるものとか色々･･･そう、本等に色々な種類があったので、色々と目から鱗を落として来た気もします。エレキテル的なリングもありましたし。
そうして、“作品化”しているものもある一方で、デザイナブルな物もちゃんとあります。総数で200点近くあるリング･アクセサリーは、芯の通った長く使えそうなものばかりで、きっとお気に入りが見つかることでしょう。
橋本さんとそんな話をしていたのと、某レビューを読んでいて、ああやっぱり、人の心をくすぐるということはこういうことなのだなあと。ふとはと、思ってみたり。
･･･あ、これを読んで必要以上に期待しないでくださいね。色々考えすぎると突拍子もないことにすら、人間慣れてしまうらしいですし。
面白い展示なのは、確か、ですが。
