At Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art

The museum will introduce the art of multi-talented artist Tadanori Yokoo (b.1936 in Nishiwaki, Hyogo) on the theme of "adventure". The exhibition will be composed in parts; one section will be a group of works featuring Tarzan and the Youth Detective Agency (Shonen Tanteidan), while another part will be more expressionist, works overflowing in the spirit of adventure. With paintings and collages numbering some 170 works and more than 200 graphic manuscripts and other resources, the exhibition will bring visitors closer to the world of Yokoo.
