The Japan-Korea Young Ceramics Artists Exchange started with an exhibition in Seoul in 1990, followed by another in Kyoto in 1991. In the more than 20 years since its founding, the exchange’s members have become leaders in the ceramic arts. One of the aims of this exhibition is to take a step forward in breaking through the current stagnation prevalent in both ceramics and the art world at large.
