From geometric shapes Yukio Awano forms animals and plants, described in pencil and ink on paper, exploiting the qualities of each material to produce a bold expression. At the same time as producing work as an artist Awano is also active as a musician creating compositions from layered recordings and DJing with his own work at various music events. In this exhibition he features a collection of work executed in ink, pen and pastel accompanied by a live performance event.
