From the Museum of Korean Embroidery Collection: Pojagi and Jumoni

Pojagi, or traditional Korean wrapping cloths, are painstakingly made by women artisans with needle and thread. Considered the “chic of Korea,” pojagi have won many contemporary admires. This exhibition displays a selection of 40 pojagi and 25 jumoni (traditional Korean bags, sacks, or pouches for money) from the Museum of Korean Embroidery Collection in Seoul, as well as pojagi from the Koryo Museum of Art’s collection.
