Takuya Yamashita’s works are based on his interventions into the everyday, the local, and the relationships of the people around him. Since 3.11, his head has been swimming with doubts about whether he has gotten weaker or if he has become numb to what he sees. His first solo show in Kyoto unites Artzone and Antenna Media with works that assume the true strength found in the particular weaknesses of the present, inviting viewers to become Yamashita’s partners in crime.
