This exhibition explores how light has been harnessed and expressed by artists as diverse as impressionist master Claude Monet and Mingei potter Shoji Hamada, but also articles for lighting themselves, including antique stained glass lamps and lampshades, and 19th century ando-zara (plates used for lanterns), all from the museum collections.
