Print Exhibition: Expressions in Black
Kyoto Gallery Shirakawa
This event has ended.
Group exhibition of monochrome prints. The color black is perhaps more favored in print than in other media, such as oil painting. This exhibition includes the works of Sachio Fukuzawa, a pioneer of copperplate printing in 1950’s Japan; Osamu Fujita who employs the new technique of photopolymer gravure printing; and renowned carver, Katsura Funakoshi who experiments with black mezzotint printing.
