Exhibition of ceramic works by Derek Larsen from his new kiln in North Kyoto. Larsen considers his work as “contemporary mingei,” creating “rugged, irregular vessels for ritual domestic purpose that provide visual, emotional, and psychological stimulus in one’s daily life.”
