This exhibition, the first in a series sponsored by an organization supporting contemporary artists, presents new works by two creators currently residing in Kyoto, Bae Sangsun and Michael Whittle. The works by these artists of different genders, backgrounds, and styles look at how lines can both divide as “borders” and connect as “bridges.” The exhibition is held at Zuiun-an, a more than 100-year-old building near Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto.
