Hiroyuki Tanaka’s works are created out of an exploration of disappearing languages and languages based on logographic systems (such as Chinese or Japanese) through old books. Tanaka hopes these works will resonate in a world where thousands of languages are fast becoming extinct as a result of globalization and development.
