This event has ended.

As part of a series of exhibitions to celebrate 15 years since the opening of the Hosomi Museum, this event showcases works of the Rimpa School from the collection with a focus on the masters Suzuki Kei (1796-1858) and Kamisaka Sekka (1866-1942). By incorporating styles from Art Nouveau and those of the Kyoto founders, Korin and Koetsu, Sekka is credited with carrying the Rimpa School of painting into the modern age.
