Recipient of the Shell Art Award in 2007, Kazumi Shimode depicts a hidden world of inhabited forests, buried treasures and youth lounging amongst tall grasses, each executed with vibrant color and fine brush work capturing a certain sense of isolation.
This exhibition features new works created around the theme of the backyard.
