This event has ended.

The tea ceremony has shaped the development of Japanese aesthetics and culture for the past 500 years. This exhibition of tea ceremony vessels and utensils focusses on the works of the Senke Jisshoku (the “Ten Artisans of the Sen Family,” in other words, the ten highly skilled craftspeople designated to serve the Sen tea schools in Kyoto).
