This event has ended.

Former Harima Province (in present day Hyogo Prefecture, with the capital at Himeji), is renowned for its high quality crafts, which thrived during the latter half of the Edo Period in particular when Himeji came under the rule of a tea ceremony master. This exhibition introduces 40 pieces of wood and lacquer crafts by living artists who continue these traditions today.
