While “blue and white” usually refers to ceramics decorated with an underglaze blue, there are other “blue and white” traditional Japanese crafts too. This gallery focuses on Soba choko (glasses used for eating soba noodles) made using the ancient sometsuke coloring technique, and aizome indigo-dyed fabrics.
