An exhibition of Meiji-era replicas of items held in the famous Shosoin Repository at Todaiji Temple in Nara. The museum holds a very popular exhibition of treasures from Shosoin, a UNESCO heritage site, every autumn; but this exhibition focuses on how the study and faithful imitation of these items, many of which date as far back as the 8th century, in the modern age has impacted craft in Nara today.
