To commemorate 40 years since the museum’s inauguration, Nara Prefectural Museum of Art is displaying masterworks from its collections in summer 2013 and at the beginning of 2014. This exhibition with a focus on Edo Period painter Shohaku Soga, will also feature paintings, prints, calligraphy and crafts from the medieval and modern eras.
