Michio Fukuoka (b.1936 Osaka) is one of Japan’s major post-war contemporary sculptors acclaimed for his work of first person narrative, and who on the occasion of his 2005 retrospective declared he was bringing a closure to his days of making. This exhibition features a select range of his sculptures and tableaux from the 1960s-70s.
