Takeshi Kubo is an artist who sculpts from marble, creating not only stand-alone sculptures but entire environments which offer a up a vortex of another universe, and in the intricate polishing of the stone’s surface he calls upon a spirit which comes to haunt the entire space surrounding the work, resulting in a reinforced sense of presence.
