An exhibition to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the birth of Hashimoto Kansetsu (1883-1945). On display will be works spanning his career, including those based on historical events in China, Shin-Nanga and animal paintings. This serves as an opportunity to rediscover the accomplishments of Kansetsu, who left a major mark on the world of modern Japanese painting, and explore the philosophy behind his creative activities.
