“The Loop” is the title of an album and a collection of works created with Shafiq Husayn, a Grammy winner and director of the record label Plug Research. Clay figurines expressing the artist’s unique “future-primitive” worldview and new paintings of the hiphop group De La Soul, in Japan this November, are on display.
