“Spacy Space” is Galaxy Gallery’s collaborative space for artists who want to experience the future together and those who want to make new ideas a reality. Rather than displaying completed works, artists engage in process of creation in an empty white cube in which limitless nothingness is equated with outer space, and by extension, art. This session of Spacy Space welcomes UC East, a member of a new generation of women artists gaining attention for the unique style of their works, which move between primal urges and civilization. Works from her “masks” series are on display in time for Halloween.
