Exhibiting the works of printmaker Umetaro Azechi (1920–1999), an artist who practiced abroad while representing Japan. Born in Ehime Prefecture in 1902, Azechi began producing prints under the direction of Unichi Hiratsuke and was also influenced by Koshiro Onchi. After WWII, Azechi won strong critical acclaim at international print exhibitions for the warmth in the style of his work.
