Exhibition of Iro Nabeshima ceramics by Imaemon Imaizumi, who in 2002 became the fourteenth generation head of his family business founded as a supplier to the Tokugawa shogunate in the 17th century. Imaizumi has been furthering the development of the traditional colour resist method of sumi-hajiki to create pieces with a contemporary feel. On display are flower vases, plates, incense burners and utensils for tea ceremony, adorned with seasonal flower and fruit designs.
