Calo Bookshop & Cafe
This event has ended.
The wondering poet Hosai Ozaki, who brought us such works as “I even cough alone”, came to the end of his days in Shadoshima and in his recent essay Masaru Nishikawa traces the poet’s steps and documents his own confrontation with Ozaki’s “Loneliness” as he travels to this island. Here he reflects upon this particular mark of Ozaki with the anthropologist of religion, Keiji Ueshima.
