This event has ended.

Exhibition of ceramics focussing on the work of eminent 20th century artists from around the world. It was figures such as Picasso and Miró who felt compelled to experiment outside their usual media and heavily influenced the development of the art form following WWII as a result. The approach of these artists was not to adhere to the centuries-long traditions and techniques surrounding ceramics but to discover a new plasticity to the material and an opportunity to reconnect with the earth — a process that continues to this day. On display will be works by artists including Taro Okamoto, Tadanori Yokoo, Peter Voulkos, Robert Arneson, and many more.
