Buddhist Art: From Gandhara to Japan

An exhibition that looks at Buddhist sculpture traditions, from stone carving in Gandhara, to gilt bronze sculpture in Korea and Japan’s wooden statues. Special works of Japanese wooden Buddhist sculpture from the Heian and Kamakura periods will be on display.
