Located in Wakayama Prefecture and surrounded by mountains and the sea, the scenery of Ashiya has inspired countless waka poets, and the Ashiya River area has been designated an important cultural site. This exhibition is an opportunity to learn about the history of Ashiya through artifacts dating to the Kofun to Showa Periods.
