This event has ended.

Under the direction of Sagawa Art Museum the Ikuko Hirayama Exhibition has been traveling across 12 venues around Japan since February 2011 and now finally returns to Sagawa Art Museum in its closing finale. This exhibition features images from his famed “Scenes from Journeys in Asia (Daitou Saiiki Ga)”, which he donated to the Genjosanzo-in of Yakushiji Temple, and documents the landscapes he encountered as he traveled along the silk road, across China and India, tracing the path of Buddhism.
