Koji Hayashi (b. 1960) graduated from Kyoto Seika University’s Nihonga painting course and Tama Art University’s graduate school. After presenting powerful works in public exhibitions and group shows, with his 1995 exhibition “Sen,” he embarked on a career of exploring new possibilities in search of greater conceptual freedom and diverse expression. The more than 20 works displayed here lyrically express the beauty, fragility, and dignity of familiar flowers.
