Marking 20 years of the Shouhaku Art Museum with a retrospective exhibition of Shoen Uemura who not only manifested the outer beauty of women but also distilled an inner grace in his work, living in devotion to the art of painting and persevering day by day in the furtherment of his artistic talent. This exhibition showcases a wide collection of work frm his early period to late career, also featuring a range of studies and sketches which provide insight into the passion of this painter.
