To introduce a wide variety of art, each season the museum presents a different set of works from its collection. Its autumn 2014 exhibition has three themes: “The Panreal Art Association,” “A Selection of Wakayama Masterpieces,” and “Changing Landscapes.” “Wakayama Masterpieces” focuses on great works of Japanese contemporary art from the museum’s collection and pieces by artists with ties to Wakayama Prefecture. Each viewing of these 80 treasures brings fresh pleasures.
