Higashiyama Artists Placement Service (HAPS) creates places where young Kyoto artists can live, work, and exhibit their art. It connects Kyoto City artists looking for places to live and work with landlords and real estate firms with spaces to fill. It made 14 such matches in the past year, one of which became Punto, a studio shared by six artists. This event commemorates the official opening of Punto, the first shared studio arranged by HAPS.
