The works of three artists chosen in the open-call Gallery Parc Art Competition, which supports a variety of creative activity, are on display in this three-part series running through July and August. This is the first solo show for Chiharu Yakushigawa, who has been using earth as a material in her paintings. She shot arrows at these tempera paintings made with decalcomania techniques after bringing them to the gallery. Focusing on the major work “Obelisk Picture”, these new pieces present fresh opportunities to consider Yakushigawa’s art.
