In 1924 Katsuyuki Nabei, a Kansai oil painter, founded the Shinanobashi Oil Painting Center, which put on exhibitions, made Osaka a base of oil painting activity, and produced many artists. This exhibition introduces the works of directors Nabei and Kinzo Kunieda, as well as several artists who studied at the center.
