Artist Maki Maeda produces warm, pop works which shape her thoughts. She questions the idea of “completion” in her unique and humorous series such as “Blocks (2013)” which consist of stuffed animals that are created without following the instruction manual to the end, and “Puzzles (2013)” which seek out a shape halfway through the origami process.
