Presenting the large paintings of Akihito Takuma’s “Lines of Flight” series, which explores the relationship between the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze and painting. Wako University professor Toshiya Ueno will give a talk about the ideas of the French philosopher, and wine will be offered at the show’s opening reception. Exhibitions of Takuma’s works will also be held simultaneously at Gakei Gimlet in Kyoto and Yoshiaki Inoue Gallery in Osaka.
